The Nursery will be closed on Monday October 6th and Wednesday October 8th due to road work at Soil Born Farms. We will also be closed on Monday, October 13th for the Indigenous Peoples Day / Columbus Day holiday.
We’ll start up our regular Monday and Wednesday workdays on Wednesday, Oct 15th. The public is also welcome to come to the nursery during Wednesday workdays between 10-12 to browse and purchase plants.
The next Volunteer Orientation & Garden Tour – Wednesday, NOVEMBER 5th, 10:30-11:30 . On Nov 5th, come learn about the our nursery, take a tour of our demonstration gardens and find out how you can get involved. Because of the Soil Born roadwork, we also had to cancel the Wed, Oct 8th Volunteer Orientation.

There will be a Sacramento Valley Chapter CNPS field trip to Grass Lake (north of Luther Pass on Highway 89, near the California/Nevada border, and south of Lake Tahoe) on Sunday, August 2, 2026. Trip leaders will be Carol Witham and Greg Kareofelas. We may be joined by members of the Bryophyte Chapter and CalFlora.
