Pot-washing and Nursery Drop-In

On Saturday, June 7th, 2025 9:30-11:00 for our monthly Saturday Drop-in. (We do not sell plants during the drop-in days.) You are invited to “meet” the native plants and learn about their benefits for wildlife, people and the environment. You can also help our efforts to be sustainable. We reuse plant containers to keep them out of landfills. These pots need to be prepared to be sterilized. you can help!

We need your 1-gallon pots

Does that sounds odd? We believe in REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE. Since most garden containers go directly to landfill, there is no real recycling them. So to reduce the pots going into landfill, we wash used pots! It’s a good activity for a group! Whether it’s 1 pot or 100, we want them, please drop them off during Nursery workdays.

Sign-ups are preferred, but drop-ins are also welcome. Email Chris (cnpschris@gmail.com). Also, could you help lead pot-washing parties? I could use your help. Chris  WE REUSE POTS
