Summary
You don’t have to use more water to give your garden more water—at least not when you divert greywater to the landscape. Get inspired by the possibilities of greywater for California water conservation, for native plant gardens, and for remediating habitat loss for species such as our our beloved Hibiscus lasiocarpos. Bring your questions and your qualms to this conversation about the luxuriant sustainability of native plants and greywater.
Speaker Bio
Tori White is not a plumber and thus, it could be said, has no business cutting up pipes—yet her relentless curiosity has driven her to crawl under her home and do exactly that. Tori built her laundry to landscape system in 2022 and is currently finishing up a permitted branched drain for her shower. Aside from independent reading and building, her relevant training has been through Greywater Design Mastery, a comprehensive program taught by Laura Allen of Greywater Action. Her irrelevant training, at least for the topic of greywater design, includes a PhD from UC Davis in the field of Comparative Literature.
