Bouteloua gracilis

• Long-lived, warm season, perennial native grass
• Grows on a wide array of topographic positions, and in a range of well-drained soil types
• Plant height at maturity ranges from 15-30 centimeters
• Green to greyish color with interesting seed heads that resemble small pennants
