Summary
If you have a native Oak in your yard or neighborhood, you are likely to have a lot (or not) of galls. Galls and gall wasps come in all shapes and sizes and are a key component of the Oak tree ecosystem. This month’s talk will feature a review of galls in general but will focus mainly on the galls formed on California oaks and the community of organisms associated with them. Please bring any interesting galls you may want to share or talk about with the group!
