Salvia apiana

• Dramatic evergreen shrub 3-5 ft high with beautiful silver-white leaves
• Each flower spike bears up to 100 white flowers with tiny lavender spots and streaks
• Strongly aromatic, with a powerful and slightly acrid sage smell
• To keep white sage from becoming too leggy, prune it back to the most robust new buds in early to mid-fall
• Attracts a variety of birds and insects
