Sailor Bar Stewards: Invasive Weed Pulling Event

When: Saturday, May 30, 8:30am – 10:30am

Location: American River Parkway, Sailor Bar Park Olive Avenue Entrance (8266 Olive Ave, Fair Oaks, CA 95628)

Amenities on-site: There are no rest facilities at the meeting area. There are rest facilities near the boat launch area which is a distance from where we will be.

What to wear/bring: Sturdy shoes, long pants, water bottle, work gloves (if you have them), maybe a hat or sunglasses

We will meet Saturday, May 30, at 8:30am at the picnic tables by the Olive Avenue entrance and parking areas. After a brief introduction, we will walk together to a section by the river where we’ll get to work! We’ll be targeting Star Thistle and other invasive weeds. No experience? No problem! We’ll give you everything you need to get started.
