• Slow-growing
• Drought-adapted deciduous tree,
• Up to 16 feet tall
• Naturally grows in chaparral and woodlands habitats
• Dense foliage, with glossy, deep green leaves
• Makes a great hedge or privacy screen
• Does best in partial sun with minimal irrigation
